Hey all, I've got Foundry and Artizan cavalry and infantry and they match well. I can get some Apache and civilians from those two company's but I'm looking for more variety. I'm curious how Dixon, Knuckleduster or Old Glory (Warpaint & Cowboy Wars) match up. Thanks much, Tom |

I've often heard of Dixon figures as being "pumpkin headed". Having only seen their British colonials, I'd have to agree with that assessment. |

I have them all. In my experience, KD 28s, OG (Warpaint,Cowboy Wars, and most OGA), Artizan, most Foundry, some EM4 (Old West & Dunwich Detectives), Crusader, Pulp Figures, mix pretty well, plus Conquest Indians, Sash & Saber, Auw, if you want some ACW flavor. The RAFM STUFF is a bit small and Black Scorpion & Reaper a bit large. You can see lots of mine intermixed here: link link |

Hi. I hope this is not an uninformed question or rehashing well trodden ground, but when did Foundry change their figure size? I have some Foundry Old West figures that I bought maybe 5 years ago and just started painting up. Would they qualify as "Old Foundry"? They seem to measure pretty true 28mm to the top of the head. I read on the Knuckleduster website that their 32mm figures are intended to be "heroic 28" so as to match with some of the other manufacturers out there today. Just wondering if my current figures will be undersized if I mix them up. LostPict seems to suggest that the KD 28s mix better with Foundry than the KD 32s. Thanks! Matt |

Here are some quick snaps. This is a mix of Artizan, Old Glory, Foundry, older 28mm Knuckleduster, Crusader (Rooster), Shadowforge (Madame Orre), and EM4. The Foundry are just a bit smaller but fine in my book. flic.kr/s/aHskCyk3H7 If you want the Clint Eastwood look, I highly recommend the Foundry Mexican Villagers and Old Glory Zorro civilians (from their OGA line) to make your streets come alive. link and link |
