Yes, it's Waterloo Day, and the Telegraph's online blog from last year is a good place to begin remembering those epic events and the sacrifices made on all sides. Truly, a turning point in history.

The Torygraph always has been great on Military History and Defence in general. Hardly surprising with the likes Max Hastings and John Keagan working for the paper. Glad this tradition has continued.

Some of us are also celebrating another historic victory over an old adversary today- Australia 7-England 23 and we go two up in the series. Pity we needed an Aussie coach to do it though!
