As I understand it, the French Hotchkiss 8mm MMG of World War I was enough of a success that Hotchkiss set about building an upscale version in 13.2mm. This came out as a naval light AA in 1929 and as a land light AA gun in 1930. Does anyone make these, in either 15mm or 28mm? I'd prefer the land version, but might be able to convert the naval version to be of use. Thanks very much! Grelber |

For 15mm you have some choice! Quality Castings make them in their French range. Quality Castings and QRF also do them in their Japanese ranges. |

You wouldn't get to use the 13.2 mm in a French land force really,it was the Japanese who used these to excess. Very few French Infantry Regts had AA guns and these few guns were of the 20mm Oerlikon type. |
