Of possible interest? "The game lets you take the side of either King Charles I or the Parliament forces as your armies fight for control of the island nation. There's tiles representing all the different types of units that would've been part of those forces, including Northern Horse, Cornish Foot, Highlanders, and Hasselrigg's cuirassiers. Use your money wisely in order to get these units (and more) to ensure that you're the one sitting on the throne at the end of the game…." link Main page link Amicalement Armand |

Like the board. What I cannot see from the video and website is what this game has on other ECW games of the same scale (The King's War for example.) I think a multi player Kingmaker like game for ECW would be a better route. |

Greetings That is a truly appalling video. My wife – who was nearby when I played it – thought there was something wrong with our hot water tank! Edward |

Yes, I was hoping this would be something like Kingmaker |

My 2cents worth, it's really hard to beat "the kings war" yes the components are dated. But it has a huge old school board game charm and it readily transfers down to table top rather effortlessly. I concur with Marcus. Unhappy King Charles is also good, but not as well presented as "TKW". |

The video was atrocious without the sound -with the sound it was a whole new level of horrendous. The only information on offer was about the music and who would be interested in that that isn't twelve years old -lol (as they say…) |

I have to agree with Terrement, after watching the vidio I am none the wiser how this game is played, I am going to stick with Unhappy King Charles, I have never had a bad game and some have been excellent games. |
