Hi folks,

I've fallen for Dragon Rampant, and I've fallen hard. After a mere read of the rules I knew I wanted to use it to build something different, so I've gone ahead and gathered enough Reaper Bones models to produce a little army of Kobolds:

Close ups of the whole force can be found on my blog:

Along with an article on my first thoughts having played DR with some different forces:

The little army above probably cost about £45.00 GBP all told and was painted up in less than four weeks. I'm pretty happy with them! Something different from Orcs and Goblins for sure…

Enjoy!

That's a super looking force!

I just played my first game of DR a little while ago and really enjoyed it!

Looking great! I have similar plans for using Bones to put together some forces that were a little outside the norm. Kobolds, Hobgoblins, Fire Giants….. Your project is very inspirational.

Thank you Dragon Rampant for bringing back old school Fantasy war gaming.

I always had a soft spot for Kobolds
I played in a AD&D game in the early 1980's and a Kobold threw a javelin at a level 20 knight.

The catch was we used a hit location table (home rules and a triple 000 was the heart)

The Knight died.

Long live Kobolds

Oh Kobolds! My D&D early character nemesis. I would have to create a DR army of Hero Adventurers to take you on.

Those look great! I may have to look into this game. I have a good dozen or two of these same guys, and probably half are already painted for D&D…
