In honor of the anniversary of Marengo (June 14th), I re-fought the battle in 15mm this weekend and posted it on my blog:

Beautiful AAR

Hope the French were able to spring the Emperor!

Thanks! ;-)

Victor negotiated his release in exchange for allowing the Austrian army to evacuate Alessandria unmolested.

…or the Austrians 'lost him', and Desaix became Emperor of the French.

A great looking game. What size stands are you using?

GDrover14 Jun 2016 8:39 p.m. PST

Thanks! They are 1.5" x 1" for Infantry and Cavalry and a bit larger for artillery.

Very nice indeed, do you use hex based rules or are the hexes just coincident ?

vtsaogames15 Jun 2016 7:56 a.m. PST

AAR says home version of Command and Colors so yes, hex based rules.

Nice looking game, fine report. Thank you.

It looks like you're using 6mm buildings, am I correct? If so, they look very good. I've been considering doing the same.
