Which of the following do you do while painting/assembling your miniature figures?

I – Podcasts – History of England, Civil War (A History Podcast), Dan Carlin, Meeples and Miniatures etc etc

b & c

C, J, D (DVDs), and A in that order.

d – although I am listening to it more than watching

A or B. I like a little Buck Sexton or Dean Martin going in the background while I paint.

B & C, D works only for stuff in English or Greek that I have already watched.

(NB – when I say 'Talk Radio', we don't really have that so I mean BBC radio 4, though I listen to 3 as well)

Any background noise is fine.

Audio Books…a jillion are available for online checkout thru participating libraries. (Hoopla)

Other- sit in the room next door painting while wife watches TV and occasionally shouting words of encouragement or despair.

Painting is sufficient entertainment in itself.

For 'entertainment', it's either music, baseball, or talking to family. However, I've discovered that I can be very productive painting while on a teleconference. Long ones with 10+ participants are the best.

I don't PREFER silence, but sometimes I do paint quietly alone.
Sometimes I'll put a YouTube playlist on (could be anything from opera to 80s New Wave or Blue Grass depending on the mood)
Other times my buddy mike comes over with his stuff to paint and we talk

I watch YouTube videos (i got a daily list of news and various others to go through ) Then when those are complete. I go to netflix. On ocations i listened to music.

B--only vinyl, typically from the 60's and 70's.
D--Mariners baseball, series on Netflix or Amazon Prime, or a movie on DVD.

(b) if I'm alone (e.g., Ramones, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello, REM, Blondie, Red Hot Chili Peppers -- maybe Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, depending on what I'm painting and what time it is).

(g) if I'm not alone. If I'm painting/making and I'm not alone, it means that my group of gaming friends is having a painting day, so we're all in a garage or basement with our stuff working and chatting around a big table.
