Aside from GameCraft and the few Team Yankee pre-paints, anyone out there making more modern looking buildings in 15mm?

Should add European or generic office buildings/factories.

It depends where and in what size of settlement they are situated.
Many a Ww2 with a tv antenna added might do.

Cities and large towns more new stuff. Small towns and villages, mostly old buildings. To make look "modern" a few cars parked up. More telephone poles and electrical pylons.

Also look in railway scenery shops. Add a modern style barn to an old farm.

Lots and lots of cars. Any idea where one can get cheap 1/100 modern (well, 1970s-80s) vehicles?

Unless you are really picky I've used Matchbox cars, I think they are generally 1/87 rather than 1/100 but since most 15mm figs are a tad large it usually works out fine.

Various architectural models are 1/100… white plastic

The ebay store we_honest (yes, it's real name, a Chinese model railroad supplier) has a bag of HO scale plastic vehicles you can get cheap, I think there's 3-4 varieties of vehicle in each pack. Very modern vehicles though, 1990s onward.

We_honest – great service from them, I bought trees and they arrived very quickly.

Matchbox cars work, are already painted, and pretty cheap. HO scale railroad buildings can be a great source – I have a Kentucky Fried Chicken that needs assembly. And there are plenty that are reasonably priced.

Miniature Building Authority has some pre-paints that are useful.

Sally4th and 4Ground do them in MDF.

JR Miniatures has a bunch of buildings that would help make a table look modern as well.

Not sure if you do ww3 Europe " the war we did not fight"(as there was no reason to!) many cars if not most would be in giant jams going west…
