Hi All, I just posted a new BATREP on my blog. It's some AIW action set in 1973, 3mm minis using Fistful of TOWs rules. It can be found at: link bish |

Bish, That was interesting but your Oz Invaded! was much more interesting. I would include Special Operations Command, Regional Surveillance Forces and each Regular Combat Brigade having only two ARA Battalions (maybe with one Reserve Battalion as planned or maybe these stay with 2nd Division as they may not be adequately trained for high intensity ops), the 24 Shornets as well as the 12 Growlers (unless we go to 4 F35 squadrons of 25 craft each in which case the FA-18Fs will probably go), probable replacement of ARH with Apache, Long Range Fire Support (HIMARS or similar good for 30 to 300Km) and Ground Based Air Defence(air superiority not such an issue). The LHDs could, by then, operate small numbers of F35Bs (maybe) and Osprey, plus some decent assault craft (LVTP-7 or similar). Have a great day, Foxtrot |

Great fight Bish, I really enjoyed it. Great terrain and minis, they look fantastic and make me want to take another dip into 3mm, but I shouldn't (can't). I look forward to more of these AIW games, and I need to take a look for that scenario book. V/R, Jack |

Bish: Great report and a cool battle. You must have spent a small fortune on all that hex-based desert terrain in addition to the verdant green stuff highlighted in your previous postings, but it looks sooooo goooood! Thanks for sharing this. If I wasn't so deeply, deeply invested in 6mm minis this would make me take a real hard look at 3mm. Cheers and good gaming. Rod Robertson. |
