Griefbringer29 Jun 2016 11:55 p.m. PST

Thanks for the information, I will be on a work-related trip to Hamilton around those days, so might be able to attend.

Bowman03 Jul 2016 1:44 p.m. PST

I'm in "Historicon-mode" right now getting ready for a big Hail Caesar game. Once I'm back I can give Broadsword 2 more thought.

I see that there is one Strange Aeons game already. I may put on another. And hopefully some of the Hamilton Rd Gamers Group will make it down too.

Two of us are Tiger-Cats seasons ticket holders too. So after a game or two we'll have to drive the 5 minutes to Tim Horton's Field and watch the Cats get shellacked again.frown

Moe the Great13 Jul 2016 11:35 a.m. PST

I'm looking forward to making this convention over the border.

I'll be running my "WWZ-Battle of Yonkers" game. Because nothing says fun like facing certain death at the hands of 1,000 zombies.

Mmmmmmmmmmoe Braaaaaiiinnns…..

AmongLions20 Jul 2016 10:25 p.m. PST

Hey there people,

We're a month away from our Games Day, he's a quick update with some more of the games we've added to the line-up.

Battle For Yonkers – 15mm Zombie World War Z
6mm Battle of Nomonhan 1937
How the West Was Eaten
A Fistful of KungFu
Northern Crusades
Black Powder ACW
Heroscape

We've got more to come, just working on firming up some specifics.

There's plenty of free parking at the venue, with lots more free parking at The Centre on Barton, which is literally a 3 minute walk.

AmongLions20 Jul 2016 10:35 p.m. PST

Griefbringer – Hope to see you come on out. If you can't make it on the 20th, perhaps you can make one of our Game Nights? We will be meeting on the 10th and the 24th of August. Feel free to contact me if you're in Hamilton and just want to grab a coffee or a beer – barnamonglions@gmail.com

Bowman – Hope you had fun at Historicon! Nothing better than some high quality gaming followed by some low quality football! Though, they seem to be doing OK this season. Let me know when you're recovered from Historicon, glad to have you on board again.

Check out Moe the Great's TMP thread, Now that's a lot of Zombies! TMP link

Are J and M Miniatures coming too?

Moe the Great22 Aug 2016 8:30 a.m. PST

Thanks to everyone who organized this con. Things went well and the people were top notch. Sure it might have been small but if all cons ran this well, people wouldn't know what to write about in this section of TMP.

Some pics of the game I ran, link

Very good looking game, Moe.

The big e24 Aug 2016 3:17 p.m. PST

Moe and I drove up and had a great time. I put on Nomonhan 1937 while Moe put on the Battle of Yonkers. Great people and it looked like wveryone was having fun. The crew that put the con on did a grest job! It was nice seeing some of friends from across the border. Thanks Barbanaby and crew!!!

Griefbringer30 Aug 2016 10:11 a.m. PST

A bit delayed thanks from my side. I managed to have three highly enjoyable games of various sorts (though my side tended to lose narrowly on all of them), had some interesting chats and even survived an encounter with a plateful of Dunwich horror.

I am hoping to be able to visit Hamilton some time again in future – hopefully coinciding with some future Broadsword event.
