"Kickstarter for Three Hive, Queen and Country books is LIVE" Topic

Please help us fund the Second Edition of Stars of Empires, the Role Playing rules for the Hive, Queen and Country Victorian Science Fiction Universe. We plan three books, a 200-page Referee's Guide, a 150-page Player's Guide and a 250-page Ground Vehicle Sourcebook.

In 2016, a game publisher called Black Pigeon Press and I put out a Victorian Science Fiction Role Playing game titled Stars of Empire. We used their game engine and my Hive, Queen, and Country (HQC) setting. This fusion provided gamers with a tabletop experience where they could be challenged by the story and not by the rules. Unfortunately Black Pigeon Press closed its doors. Instead of letting the Hive, Queen and Country Universe just die I formed Aerolyth Enterprises LLC and began self publishing. With the help of a number of friends and a successful Kickstarter we've been able to produce a miniatures game and two source books. Now we would like to come full circle. With your help we will produce two core books, one for Referees and one for Players.

To support both Role Playing and Minaitures gaming we will also be producing the Land Fighting machines book for the HQC Universe, over 100 designs, 3D graphics, histories, orders of battle, tables of organization and equipment and color schemes! The book should run about 300 pages and will be out by June 2017. We have playtested at conventions across the country including Origins, Gencon, DragonCon, Diecon, Borderwars and Colonial Barracks.

Any help folks can provide is most welcome!

So we didn't hit 50% on our Kickstarter yesterday link but I am still willing to do a cool thing if we hit it today by Midnight (and I will accept Midnight local time for the supporter or Midnight local for me, or heck midnight anywhere on planet Earth (Not Mars or Venus)

And here is the cool thing I will do. I will shoot a video of folks creating characters and post it by the end of the 4th of July weekend. I will put it on here and on youtube. Does that sound like a fair trade?

If we get 50 supporters to pledge the all-digital 40.00 package before the 4th of July I will create a number of characters equal to the total number of all supporters over 40.00. Everyone who supports over 40.00 (even those who have already done so) will get all these characters in PDF form as a FREE add on. The characters will all be designed to work together as an expedition so there will be leaders, scientists, a doctor or two some soldiers to guard it, a number of guides, perhaps a bad apple or three in the barrel as well. I am willing to take suggestions for both the type of expedition (Amazonian, Oceanic, Venusian, Martian, Lunar, Deep space, etc.) and for specific characters folks might wish to see. If we get over 100 supporters at 40.00 or more we will digitally supply deck plans and other equipment for the expedition. But again we have to hit the goal by midnight on July 4th!

You will get the three current books as soon as the Kickstarter finishes and then the other books as they are completed. We hope to have all three done by August of 2017.

PLUS if we get to 100% by Midnight on the 4th of July we will add FIFTY complete characters as a FREE add on. But wait there is more! If we get to 100% by the 4th AND we get a supporter from Africa and one from South America we will ADD a group of TEN VILLAINS as well.

OK, I make really terrible videos (The power point part is the best thing. It does give an idea of the mechanics, and my cat Tuxedo looks great!

The main point is that we provided the item we said we would before the deadline. We intend upon doing just that with everything from this Kickstarter
