I just want to take a moment and give Waterloo Minis waterloominis.com a big thumbs up. On June 2, I made a large (well, for me anyway) order of seven ships with sails and ratlines to bulk up my Spanish fleet. The order arrived today, in full. As someone who first ordered 1/1200 scale ships from Modeler's Mart in 1981, I'm impressed with Waterloo's service. I fully expected to wait on a backorder from the UK, but Jeff had everything in stock right down to my specific sail settings. Given that AOS gaming is a niche of a niche of a niche (wargaming/naval wargaming/AOS naval wargaming), that means he keeps some serious stock on hand. Give Waterloo a try, and you won't regret it. BWW PS: No interest other than being a satisfied customer. |

Thanks Brian, I appreciate the support. I wish I could say that I have everything everyone wants all the time, but it isn't always the case. If someone hits me up for 4 28-gun schooners, and I have 3…well then I'm going to have to order from the Langtons. What I WILL do is contact you (the customer) to let you know that is the case. One of the complaints I see from people on other sites is lack of communication from the place they ordered. "He never responds to my emails" etc. etc. I will always try my utmost to communicate with my customers. Again, I really appreciate the kind words, and thanks for your business! |

I'll second it, I've always had a great experience with Waterloo. That I haven't put in an order in a while is just my attempt at discipline, as my shipyard is already buried under a pile of lead. My self control could cave at any moment though… |
