After many games (of both asymmetrical and symmetrical battles) I've posted up the version 2.0 rules for Bolt Action Modern along with the army lists here: link

Thanks! I'm hoping I can pry away a couple of warm bodies to give them a look.

Thanks for these. No excuse not to paint my Empress Australians now.

Well that is pretty cool. Thank you for your high quality efforts.

Thanks guys … far from perfect I'm sure, but we've played a shed load of games of it now and it is working really well for us (playing platoon sized or larger games). Will keep working away on adding units and such. :-)

Looks like good stuff! Thanks for sharing.

As it'd be hard to convince my clubmates to try another new ruleset for moderns, playing a familiar ruleset is what we need – thanks mate!

sotek48611 Jun 2016 1:18 p.m. PST

Excellent, thanks for checking them out :-)

No problem :-)

All --- note that since I originally posted I updated the army lists to include Australians, Canadians and Chinese PLA … if the version you downloaded doesn't have those you don't have the latest version (also fixed a bunch of typos).

Enjoy!

Interesting that there is no French list, are you planning on doing one?

FlyXwire14 Jun 2016 5:39 a.m. PST

…..and could be adapted/used for Brushfire era wars too.

Thanks for your generous contribution [gift] Jay!

Thanks FlyXwire!

Andy P --- funny you should mention that … I'm working to add both French and German by the end of the week … I'll be doing a separate post to cover that update (which includes a bunch of typo fixes and the additional lists I've added after my original post).

Hey y'all … version 2.1 is now posted … it includes a ton of typo fixes and most importantly … all the army lists I've wanted to do: link

The army lists now cover:

USMC
US Army
Russian Army
British Army
Australian Army
Iraqi Army & Insurgents
Canadian Army
Chinese PLA
French Army (including FFL)
German Army
