Tango 01: The repair rules seem a bit odd to me as does the durability of tanks at very close range. Other than these points, it seems to be an interesting but unremarkable rule system. I wish them well. Cheers and good gaming. Rod Robertson. |

I watched the entire video. Nice production. Another variation of D6 dice mechanics sprinkled in with some nice graphically designed play aids. Other than having tank models on the table it seems to have nothing to do with tank-tank combat. However, it should sell pretty well because it seems to be what is in demand. Wolfhag |

Its aim is simplicity/playability not realism. Might be a worthwhile diversion. |

Seems awfully involved just to resolve a single turn of firing. And repairing damage in the middle of a firefight? Nice pretty, colorful cards though. I'm sure that will appeal to some. Not me however. I'll pass. |

Played today, not historical but not terrible. I bit gamey. Don't know if I could play it every time the group gets together, but as a con game I can see it being popular. Movement with the movement stick is actually pretty subtle. Shooting is a bit unrealistic ( I'm not a fan of saving roles ), but it works well enough. All in all a game. If you're into historical games its not going to be what you expect. I simple diversion I'm sure designed to sell more toys. |

X wing with tanks Yes, at a high level. But lacking X-Wing's basic structure to make the game interesting. For example, while some X-Wing models have turrets, most have limited arcs of fire. And they must continuously move forward in some manner. A WWII tank can sit in one place and rotate its turret to engage targets. |

Not impressed as to being "anything" like a historical Tank vs. Tank wargame. Tonight I played my first game, to give it a fair try. It lived up to what I expected; Not Much. Whenever anyone commented on some unusual aspect to the game the guys running it, put it in perspective; "Its a Game." *Wolfhag makes an interresting point. However, it should sell pretty well because it seems to be what is in demand. Its "OK" to pass an hour with or maybe a way to introduce your young son to wargaming, but thats about it. Personally, Bolt Action's TANK WAR, (played in 15mm) are one of the best set of armor vs.armor rules. |
