Taken from full post here: link The Rest Of The Rebased
Whew, rebasing is hard work. But here are the last of the Dwarfs who needed switching from round to square. I do need to make or buy some movement trays.
Overview of alot of stunties.
The Dwarf battle lines in depth.
High King Kazador on his Throne of Power. He is talking strategy with his 4 trusted counselors: Kragg the Grim, Runelord (back left), Burlok Damminson, Guildmaster Engineer (front left), Ungrim Ironfist, the Slayer King (back right), Joseph Bugman, Brew Master (front right) For the rest of the post: link

Fast, cheap, easy Movement Trays, made from peel-n-stick vinyl floor tiles: link.
Ignore the strips of foam, and just use a layer of it on top of the tile. They work great, and they are completely customizable. Cheers! |

Those dwarves look great. The rebasing has really paid off for you. Lots of old school classics in there. Just add a few war machines and nothing will stop them… |

Magnificent. But by what strange twist of fate were they on round bases though?!? Did you switch to round bases for Age of Sigmarines, and then switch back? (joke). |

You could have kept them on the rounds for Dragon Rampant. Oh and great painting! |

Thank you all! My blog started with skirmish gaming via LOTR SBG/Song Of Blades and using Dwarven Forge Cavern Tiles. Then it ramped up in numbers for Warhammer 1st edition, which could still use round bases. I did play a few games of Lion Rampant, Heritages Knights & Magick, even quite a few games of 80s Basic D&D. All perfect for round bases. So, my vintage gaming evolution is stepping up to 6th and 7th Warhammer, then will probably go back to 3rd Edition and Realm of Chaos. But the reason to switch to squares, is simply… I have a far larger collection of figures now than when I started. So, mass fantasy combat is here to stay on the Mars Miniatures blog. And there is really no problem with skirmish gaming using square bases, so I really should have started with squares to begin with! Ah, hindsight! Bandolier, I do have painted warmachines. The last blog entry has em. The next blog entry will have all of my currently painted Dwarves and allies.
Ivan DBA, Round bases are actually quite old school, they are in the rules for 1st and 2nd edition! And yes, I based round before Age of Sigmar came out. But even when it did come out, boy did I get a comment on two about using rounds! I would joke about how I should have went with Hex Bases instead. |

Oh and also, looks like the Lead Adventure Forum beat you TMP'ers this time. That is High King Thorgrim on his Throne of Power, not Kazador! I cannot edit the original TMP post above, but I have edited the mistake on my blog. Here is the edit: Edit: Please note that I, Mars Minis, made the terrible mistake of calling Thorgrim as Kazador. This mistake was spotted by LordOdo (of the Lead Adventure Forum). LordOdo, is now given the Dwarf Eagle's Eye award and is proclaimed Dwarf-Friend by official decree and may visit the Kingdom of Moria at any time. I, however must shave my beard in shame… I really do need to shave, it really is getting quite unruly and scruffy.

Oh how I hate rebasing! Always impressed when some one puts all that hard (and not glamorous) work into it. |
