I have found deer, pigs, oxen, cattle, horses, chickens, sheep, ducks, wolves and foxes from various manufacturers. Dogs and cats as well.

But does anyone make more woodland creatures, such as raccoons, skunks and beaver (which I swear I saw the other day), black bear, squirrels, badgers and wolverines? Basically, I am looking for anything that a frontiersman might hunt for its skin in the 1750s.

Try Reaper Familiars

Ral Partha used to make a pack of Woodland Animals. I don't see them on the Iron Wind Metals site.

Ral Partha Europe still has them

In the next couple of weeks, Rapier Miniatures will have Badgers and Rabbits in their familiars range.

A few 15 18mm animals are available from Splintered Light. I went with model RR animals for most of mine.

Whether for 15/18 or 25/28 you must always start your animal search with Irregular Miniatures, both wild and domestic. Splintered Light does have some nice stuff, too. For domestic only, Museum Miniatures in 15 mm. And Baueda has great little herds of varied poses for a few domestic animals.

Foundry have a reasonably extensive animals selection, including some American black bears.

North Star do some beavers and apparently a moose and caribou in the same category.
