Well, it's always difficult starting a project because everything seems so far off. Today, after almost a month, I managed to get my first brigade done. The British are a tedious bunch to paint, especially when you go back to repaint trousers and rebase the first two battalions.

I hope you like it,

Great job; only eight more brigades to go.

foxweasel09 Jun 2016 4:35 a.m. PST

Very impressive, are they all Front Rank figures?

olicana09 Jun 2016 4:45 a.m. PST

All Front Rank.

8 Battalions to go, I wish! I was silly enough to tie myself into this project by buying over 40 battalions as a first in – I crashed Front Rank's payment system, honestly, I did.

I said 8 brigades to go …

olicana09 Jun 2016 5:17 a.m. PST

79th, of course, should have guessed…

Great job, Front Rank are really the nicest to paint, I particularly like there light infantry figures.

40 battalions though……wow.

You really need to do an Austrian Korps, or 2

Lovely work James! I agree, aside from Calpe Front Rank are my favourite figures to paint.

Great!
Though you made the cardinal sin of painting details that can be seen within three feet.=-P

As long as the King's Colour is on the right and the Light Company on the left (the two elites suitably finished) we can tell you have done your homework..Great work!

Latest Front Rank stuff is so much better. The "Reinforcements" have lost the Hobbit look and the castings were always superb…if not the anatomy.

Yours must be from some events before the 1815 campaign. Forgive me, was there a conflict before Boney marched into Belgium?…………oh yes, I see Napier and especially Chandler say so. Must read his three volumes. They cost me enough!

Nicely done and congrats
