I was at the Target (US department store chain) and saw a stuffed dog in a British guards uniform. Since my wife was busy standing in line to pay, I had to go over and check it out. Ok, so as a representation it was pretty bad. The dog did not have any of the collar markings, like a grenade or leek. It did, however, have the tunic buttons painted on in groups of three, instead of the evenly spaced buttons one would normally use. So, now I'm just curious: have the Scots Guards done something to draw attention to themselves? The only other think I can think of is that somebody Googled what they thought was a generic Guard, got a Scots Guard picture, and proceeded to make their stuffed dog look like he was in that regiment.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I need something to occupy my time.

It might have been done to save the cost of putting a plume on the bearskin…

Was it a Scots Terrier?
