1) You try to do the eyes on 10mm
2) You paint the interior of your tanks just before you glue all the hatches on
3) You spend half a day getting the rose just the right tint for IR 40
4) You paint the laces on the shoes
5) You paint clothing that you would need a microscope to see
6) You blackline all the straps – and I mean all the straps
7) Your painting table collapses under the weight of the paints
8) You have a paint for every colour in nature – and many that are not
9) Other
10) Painting OCD? You clearly have not looked at any of my minis!
11) Not a painter (thank God)

I know someone who painted the cuff stripes and buttons on 15mm ACW officers.

7 – Probably would happen except I have a very sturdy (i.e. HEAVY) table.

kallman08 Jun 2016 12:51 p.m. PST

#12 I do at least three highlights on 15 mm figures

zoneofcontrol08 Jun 2016 1:30 p.m. PST

#13) You avoid painting like the plague.

Nicely painted minis can be found in many, many places. My paint table and storage area and not any of those "places".

Forget the 3 foot rule. If it looks okay under an Optivisor with a #4 lens plate!

RavenscraftCybernetics08 Jun 2016 1:43 p.m. PST

if it has been sculpted, it should be painted. nothing OCD (CDO) about that.

Lace and mitre caps on SYW British grenadiers.

Anyone who's ever entered a Pendraken painting contest would see no issue here.

When you paint tartan and dicing on Napoleonic Highlanders in 6mm: link

Whirlwind for the win!!!

I painted earrings on my 6mm Old Guard. Does that count for CDO?

You paint an anatomically correct view in case some looks under the kilt.

GarrisonMiniatures09 Jun 2016 3:59 p.m. PST

Certainly guilty of 6 and 8 at times. Once painted bolts on to wire pikes and outlined them in black…

#6 … I enjoy painting those little tiny black lines on all of those lovely white straps, and refuse to accept that it's a problem.
