Going to be in Albuquerque for a few days. My wife is attending a library conference and I get to tag along. If there's time after seeing the natural wonders I was thinking of Are there any game or miniatures stores there worth visiting? |

Sorry, no wargame info, but I hear a good place to eat is Los Pollos Hermanos. Don't put the sugar in your coffee, though. |

Try Active Imagination in Albuquerque. They should have a Facebook page. |

I second the call on Los Pollos Hermanos. Don't ask about the previous owner. |

Active Imaginations for games. Try Bookworks and Page One for books. bkwrks.com bkwrks.com If you have a car, run up the Turquoise Trail (as the tourist guides call it) through the old mining towns of Madrid and Cerillos to Santa Fe. It's touristy as all get out, but there are a lot of gems. The museums in Santa Fe are worth the drive. heck, if you can get to Taos, see Kit Carson's museum. |

Tried to get to the Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant, but it was closed. Something about a problem with the delivery trucks not getting through?. But it's ok. I am having a A1 kind of day…… |

Spent 3 months in Rio Rancho (a suburb of ABQ) last year, Active imaginations has a decent collection of games and a huge pile of BITZ to be had on the cheap, twin suns is mostly CMGs and 40k in a large comic shop. Both have friendly staff. Take the tram up the mountain, go check out the "old district" and get some packets of the "blue meth" sugar candy for the "breaking bad" fans in your life. Oh, and eat at "twisters", it's the chain that was "los Pollos Hermanos" in that show. They have REALLY good burgers |

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is worth seeing. Some great aircraft and weapons on display. Recommend Backstreet Grill for good food and not expensive. |
