Hello everybody, I am looking for cheap sets of 10mm legionaries and gladiators (or barbarians).

I am not interested in a huge number of pieces (about 10 per set would be OK) but I would like to have as many different poses as possible.

Just to give an idea of what I like, for WW2 I found Matchlock miniatures American Paratroopers excellent:

Any suggestions?
Links to pictures appreciated :)

All the legionary packs I have used (Chariot, AIM, Newline, Steve Barber, Pendraken) come as single pose packs … if you are lucky – say Newline they come with some command figures in the pack.

You may be more lucky with the barbarians … I have quite a fair mix in my Celts …

There's a mix in the Steve Barber ones, too, though they are slightly smaller than some other 10mm …

The current Pendraken packs seem to have 2 poses.

Magister Millitum also have multiple poses (e.g. 4 poses for the Raw Legion) but you may need to contact them to get a mixed pack as they are normally sold in packs of 1 or 2 poses.

Most 10mm are designed for mass usage and many will prefer a limited set of poses, it makes painting a few hundred figures a good deal easier.

@Zipee

Thanks for the heads-up regarding Adler 200.
Had no idea they were available.

Thanks everybody for your kind replies!
I understand that what I search is not compatible with the common usage of 10mm minis.

Magister Militum seems to be the better option, thank you GildasFacit! These minis seem to be very well made.

Would I be much better off if I went for 15mm instead? i.e. is it easier to find offers with fewer figures and more different poses?

My guide for Caesar's Gallic War figure Manufacturers hope it helps.

Take care
