The detail work in particular is really extraordinary. The badges on the lawmen, for example, really pop. I'd love to hear a bit about your techniques.

Really nicely painted but that Stage Coach looks massive. I have the Old Glory one which looks more in scale but is quite fragile.

Just amazing.

Very nice!

Love the delicate shading rather than the heavy dark lines seen on so many figures.

Love the figures and I need to do a plus for DMH, great game with great scenarios and campaigns.

Great! I like the basing mix especially.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yeah, I do (well, have done) occasional tutorials. Haven't written one up for a few years as I'm mostly occupied with commission work which doesn't leave time for the photography and editing required.

Technique wise these are all simple enough – base, wash, layer, details. Paints are all vallejo, except the flesh base (GW 'Tallarn Flesh'). Basing is playpit sand and cat litter, GW 'dead grass' and some Woodland Scenics clump foliage. Some sepia and brown washes on the base for the stage coach.

So I got busy with a 3d printer. These kits are for sale, too. I'll avoid price / sales discussion here (not a sales board after all) but a swift email to enquiries at winterdyne dot co dot uk can get it sorted.

Right, to pictures, cos that's all anyone really wants:
