Hello TMP! I have a huge pile of 15mm lead that is for a Pictish army. It is mostly foot with some cavalry and chariots. My budget is between $1.50 USD-$2.00 a figure for foot, obviously more for the mounted and chariots. Normally I would paint them myself, but the reason I am soliciting for a painting services is due to the complexity of the Pictish warrior. I am looking for someone who has experience painting Picts before and can do woad tattoos as well as checkered/gingham patterns for some of the cloths. Thanks TMP! Best, Stanton |

Considering what you are wanting per foot you might want to give Pictor's Studios a go. That is about their going rate for 15 mm foot and they are professionals that do this on a regular basis. Soliciting a stranger here on TMP may lead to unhappiness for both parties. I have attempted a couple of times to earn some extra income by painting other people's figures. I have learned that a, I do not like painting other people's stuff especially if there is a deadline, and b, painting other people's stuff means I am not getting my stuff painted. Which leads to a cascade failure that neither the "client's" stuff or my stuff is getting painted. Which is why I no longer attempt to offer my services as a painter of other people's miniatures. I am fine with selling miniatures that I have already painted for myself and gotten some enjoyment out of using. But taking the plunge to do stuff on commission is not my strength and I have learned that lesson. |

Haven't done picts or 15MM before but I'm totally interested in the challenge and the price seems fair to me at this time. Contact me at gerencovant@gmail.com and we can discuss the details of your like. |
