I am still earning that period and was under the impression each battalion had a different pattern to their flags.

I thought the same thing regarding the flags. I originally planned to do French Rev 1793 through 1796 but began to alter my thought process regarding units and OOBs as I collected figures. However, I ran across different accounts regarding flags, types, etc. In the end I elected to set myself up for being able to do 1796 to 1800 with the types of units I was collecting in 6mm. I used TMP as my determining factor on this subject in the end. Thanks for sharing the link.

looking good – as for the colours – you have good reasoning, I wouldn't give them d'Italie colours
