Nice review. I did the kickstarter for deadzone and find the figures and terrain to be very nice.

I'm really not sure I want to upgrade, the now removed aggression mechanic and the shoot/suppress dichotomy were the things I loved most.

@blackfang Yeah I thought of adding that to the review. There were some interesting things in the complexity. So if you liked those things you can always keep playing with the 1st Edition. I don't think the original rules were too complicated, but did make it a bit harder to bring in new players.
