"Perry-Old Glory Mounted" Topic

I have some Perry mounted Confederate Generals I am collecting and since they don't have many I was wondering they match up with old Glory's mounted?I see Sash & Saber have a couple too.I also plan on collecting the Union ones also.These are just for collecting,not wargaming.

I assembled some Perry plastic ACW cavalry and they were HUGE – way taller than anything else we had.

I have the metals.I just wanted to know if the Old Glory matched up with what I have.

Can't say fairer than that!!

Sash and Saber generally mix well with Perry metals. I have both and have no qualms about mixing.

Sash and Saber also mix well with OG 2nd edition (same sculptor I believe). I have bought from these two ACW ranges exclusively the last couple of years.

I have those Generals also, they are a good match for my Foundry Cavalry and they all go with the OG Cavalry just fine.

I have Foundry, OG, Sash & Saber, as well as others and except the very LARGE Perry Plastics (they are nice but the horse are just big) they all go together just fine IMHO.

So, generally speaking, are the Perry metal mounted figures smaller than their plastic cavalry set? I have some OG second edition mounted officers and the horses are lap dogs in comparison to the plastic Perry horses. :)
