I know there are a number of sets with a primary air to air focus, but how about rules that cover various ground attack missions from CAS to deep interdiction (that also represent air defenses)? I have the boardgames Downtown and Elusive Victory which do so, but looking for more modern era (1980's to today). In essence want a set of rules that I can possibly integrate into my ground combat games. Thanks, CW |

We have used Air War C21 with 6mm and 3mm planes to play out Arab-Israeli and Cold War Gone Hot scenarios in both air to ground and air to water gaming. |

I think GDW's old boardgame "Air Strike" covered this. |

GDW's Air Strike is definitely the best air to ground system for wargamers. There is a supplement for the Phantoms air to air miniatures system called Intruders that is all about air to ground combat: wfhgs.com/downloads.html |

The old Bar Lev board game had a very good air-to-air, air-to-ground, SAM, AAA, and interdiction system. Might be worth a look. |

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. Special thanks to aegis for the link to Phantoms. |
