Would figures from the SYW be ok for the AWI? I know the uniform became more adapted in teh lmid to late part of the AWI so would they be ok to use for early? |

I wouldn't specifically buy SYW figures to use for AWI, but, as Herr von Schlockenberg says, Red Coat and Tricorne is close enough to use without excessive shame. |

If you have figures already painted for the AWI and want to do SYW battles with them, go ahead. But if you are starting out and have neither, it's best to buy figures specifically for the war you are interested in. |

To me the biggest difference is the tricorn, it is less severely angular in the AWI
