We had a nice game today of Another Glorious Day In the Corps.

Scenario: A Terran satellite drone has crashed on an abandoned mine on the desolate planet XC28. Terrans have dispatched a local Marine patrol to recover the data drive from the satellite. Unfortunately the Nazrat have the same idea in mind. A cell of the Long Rang Raiders downed the satellite and are in hot pursuit of it as well. But it turns out the mine is not abadoned = the Colonial Liberation Front had a guft fall in their lap. But would they be able to keep it from their enemies and hack the data it contains?

The two sides approach, scanners giving a rough idea where the missing satellite data drive is located.

Terrans advance on the mining outpost, prepared to seize or destroy the satellite.

Rebels try a last minute break out but Nazrat plasma guns disable the truck. In the ensuing close quarters fight the Terrans gain control of the truck trailer and win the game.

The pinkish-beige buildings in the lower right of the first picture could be the packaging from a box of cookies -- which would be pretty awesome.

The eagle eyed among you may have spotted an Oreo tray, Chobani yogurt cups, a tray from chocolate Santas and a quail egg container.

Well, since I wrote them I like them pretty well. I just re-worked the shooting system so need to post an updated file to the web site (www.FlagshipGames.com)

I LOVE IT.. when people use their imagination to create terrain, ships, etc. Factory made is great, but use the brain cells, keep it cheaper and more fun. IMHO.

Loved the AAR and the pics are great.

btw, love the 'Aliens' quote: "Another Glorious Day IN the Corps"
Is that by chance the name you have given to your rules set?
