Saxon casualties

Everybody gets to die in a cuddle with wild flowers. Sweet! What about the guys who die in a muddy street? Another curious detail: where are the weapons?

Nice job on the painting (including the bases details, I'm just having fun with you).

Note to sculptors: people tend to die face up. Unless they get knocked down from behind and die, or go unconscious instantly, face down is actually the less common pose of corpses on a battlefield….

The weapons don't show up on the photos but there are spears and a sax with some of the figs
