Nice job. You would be better off glossing the aircraft before and after applying the decals to get rid of the visible carrier film. Decals stick to a gloss surface much better than a matt one because the gloss is smoother, like glass compared to sand paper.

Hi Vigilant, yep, you live and learn and Im grateful for all the advice, the problem is in the process of being rectified.
