GW is making these: link You get nine barrels, three crates and three pretty big shipping containers for 30 quid. That isn't bad. The shipping containers are bigger than the ones I got from the Reaper bones line for $9. USD I'm not sure why they have stormbolters on them but I suppose it would be pretty easy to leave them off. |

So what part of my body does GW (EE) want me to sell? |

It looks like nine barrels and twelve crates, with three containers and six storm bolters. Yo be honest, seeing as it is GW, it does seem to be quite a lot of scenery for £30.00 GBP… … but it would be much more fun to build scenery with card and papiermache though :D |

If you use the barrels to judge though, those containers don't look all that big. |

It looks like they are about 70mm high.
They look pretty well proportioned. I'm not sure that I would want them to be bigger. |

Thats £10.00 GBP for one sprue. They got botter deals, though you easily get them for 20% off. The usual price for a sprue seems to be in the 3-6 rang (just got 50 for the WG/TTW castle for ~3 per sprue, but these are a bit smaller. As they have internal detailing, I can imagine to get me one set for the odd scenery project, but I will definitly not use them to bulk out terrain, like a container area. |

The detail is neat. However… Bolters? Tactical shipping containers? |

Gothic arches on a shipping container? |

Yeah I just got the rules for them. They cane be used as standard terrain or Apocalypse Strategem Terrain. You can use the bolters, or roll on a table to see what is inside which will improve certain stats if you are within 6" of it. Option are - 1 monster inside 2 Nothing 3 +1 Leadership 4 +1 Weapon Strength 5 Shield Array 6 Comms Array giving you an orbital bombardment The Crates allow you to reroll 1s The Barrels increase your flamer weapon types to HEAVY. They have a chance of exploding if you shot at them. |

I can safely say that I'll probably be ignoring the official rules. If there is anything inside them it will most likely be not usable in the time of a game or very scenario driven. |

They look pretty nice to me |

It's a decent amount of terrain for £24.00 GBP-30 (depending on where you get 'em). I'll be wanting a couple of sets. |

Y'know, in my old VOID games, some of the resin terrain we used was stacked fuel/watercans & barrels. I had always houseruled that it was a Damage 6 large template explosion if they are targeted specifically and hit with a roll of 7 or better on a d10. Made it chancy for both sides, for defense, whether to use for temporary cover AND for offense whether to target it and possibly not roll high enough and waste that unit's action. |
