Cataphract looks Parthian, so I would say it's possible that the king is Ardeshir 1. Consider that educated guesswork only… |

There was a thread on this on the Society of Ancients forum. link This paper on the bowl PDF link comes to the conclusion that the bowl was probably made in the early 20th century. |
