Does anyone have information about this Sassanian plate with King defeating a Catafract, Azerbaijan Museum, Tabriz, Iran?
Is the catafract a Persian, Roman, Sarmatian, Parthian or other? Has it been dated?

Cataphract looks Parthian, so I would say it's possible that the king is Ardeshir 1.

Consider that educated guesswork only…

This paper on the bowl PDF link comes to the conclusion that the bowl was probably made in the early 20th century.
