you need to paint the decals with gloss varnish then matt varnish to avoid the "silvering" effect.

Very nice work. I really like the Bf 110, gotta love the Iron Marschalls Destroyers.

Repaint is right about the Decals, I work in much smaller scales, 1/300th & 600th, and tend to use satin finish putting one coat on before applying the decals and a second to seal them in place. In the larger scale I would definitely do as Repaint says.
