link We managed a little break from the madness of Project Jutland recently and fitted in our yearly game of 6 mm WW2. Our little group of intrepid gamers are following the action across Western Europe from D-Day to the end of the war. The last game saw us close the Falaise gap and now the Allies are racing forward only to find tough groups of determined Germans in their path. Whilst the current trend seems to be platoon level games like the excellent Chain of Command I have always preferred a larger unit base and smaller model size to give the impression of the large scale of the conflict. I've included a game Map and full orbats if you fancy a go or like me you like having a pool of scenarios hanging around. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

There were a couple of rule books by Navwar (or carried by them), back during the height of the Cold War. Can't recall the name right now, but the first release was the main set of rules, and then there was a second booklet that added more details for air and submarine ops, IIRC. |

Missiles at Sea (available for free here link) based on the WWII rules Victory at Sea by Mongoose. I've played a few games using them at my local club, while not the most realistic they are easy to use and provide a fun game and have been received well at the club. Rory rorycrabb.wordpress.com |
