Well, I'm glad to see that isn't just US news sources that a story by repeating the same thing over and over again with minor variations. And we all know the geological faults follow straight lines (nudge, nudge. wink, wink). It isn't aliens, gentlemen, it's the remains of the Merman Empire, brought low by C'thulu lest they disturb his slumber.
