Hello folks. I am curious to know which hobby stores in Atlanta do historical wargaming?
Distance is not a concern.
Does anyone know of any stores that have an active following for GuildBall?
On a side note…
Are there any historiCal wargaming groups I should know about?

Gigabytes in Marietta has Guild Ball. The store also supports some historical games (SAGA) but depending on the night historicals are less common than the popular sci-fi/fantasy miniature games. But I suppose that holds true in most places.

Sadly, as of last month, Treefort Games in Fayetteville is no more.

Not that I know much about the game, but it looks like Gigabytes has an impressive selection of Guildball.

This group plays at Gigabytes cafe, mostly Lardies rules but always historical. (and I'm jealous of the terrain they have!)

Up north is Meeple Madness in Flowery Branch. They have a large selection of board games and they appear to have a good deal of Bolt Action going on during the weekends. Also, I host Historical Games here in my home about every 1 1/2 months. Subjects and scales vary and we have an active group of about 8-10 regulars. If you are interested in joining the mailing list for our games, drop me a line on TMP or email me at:

I always used to stop by The War Room on my way through. Now that was a store!
