Previously – TMP link – you voted for Subway (the sandwich shop chain) to sponsor the HMGS conventions. They probably cannot bring all of their sandwiches to the convention. Which sandwiches from their standard menu do you prefer? Black Forest Ham Carved Turkey Carved Turkey with Bacon Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt Cold Cut Combo Italian B.M.T. Meatball Marinara Oven Roasted Chicken Roast Beef Rotisserie-Style Chicken Spicy Italian Steak and Cheese Subway Club Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Classic Tuna Turkey Breast Veggie Delite |

Due to fat issues (no gallbladder) Veggie Delite, Roast Beef, Oven Roasted Chicken, or Carved Turkey. No Mayo! Any one of those works for me. |

Black Forest ham and turkey--or have they gotten rid of that, like the Greek dressing they used to have that smelled just like the Central Marketplace in Athens. Gelber |

I'm with Doctor X. Heck, Publix makes some borderline killer subs, especially their Italian on multigrain bread. Subway…Blech! |

It's in the bread too. I always get mine on Italian Herb and Cheese. Tina Meatball marinara Seafood Black Forest Ham (with Swiss and bacon roasted and with tomato, onions, oregano and oil and vinegar). No lettuce. Ever. |
capncarp | 01 Jun 2016 11:37 p.m. PST |
Their pastrami sub is pretty good, provolone, onions, tomatoes, oregano, on either herbed Italian or multigrain roll, and the whole thing toasted. It only comes around occasionally, though. |

Well, the question was which sandwich from Subway. For all it's sins it can be healthier than some from Jimmy John's which is the other sandwich shop here in Maplewood. If we open it up (which Poll did not) then the Saint Louis city shop – Blues City Deli. Or a sandwich from a within walking distance diner, Piccadilly at Manhatten! But given the diner is my second favorite eatery locally I almost certainly would not have a sandwich. |
