Looking for gamers in the Cardigan or surrounding area

Gen Custer01 Jun 2016 1:30 p.m. PST

I'm in Haverfordwest. Paint but do not game ;-) but there is a gaming club here at the cricket club every Wednesday if I remember correctly :-)

Kind regards

Sascha

I live in Clunderwen, but run the air cadets at Aberporth, so am frequently in the area.

Hang on a minute… Sascha, I've been drooling over your photos for years and never realised that you live 10 minutes from me!

GWI,

What's your e-mail address?

God wills it02 Jun 2016 5:36 a.m. PST

I visited the haverfordwest club a few times but the time travelling for only a couple of hours gaming didnt make:it worthwhile, I seem to recall the club is no more but could be wrong.

I currently have nothing to game with but can eventually set up a table and host a game… just looking for fellow gamers who maybe want to set something up in the future…gaming wise its rather barren around these parts.

Jemima or anyone around this way.

Tell me about it… :)

I still go to my old club (WASP) in Pembroke Dock occasionally, but time is always problematic, as I spend a lot of time in your neck of the woods these days.

Anyway, I've sent you an e-mail. See what you think.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi GWI

The Carmarthen Old Guard meet every Wednesday evening from 5.30pm in Carmarthen. We are hoping to arrange a couple of Sunday games soon.

Contact us via facebook – Carmarthen Old Guard.

We play historical games only at the moment.

One of our members lives in Trevin, not far down the coast from you.

I also still get to go to WASP in Pembroke Dock a couple of times a year, still going strong after 36 years!!

Oh yeah, and there's a bloke called Oudinot in Carmarthen…

He has a very nice shop that the wife likes, though he thankfully also stocks a 'Gentlemen's Selection' under the counter… ;)

Oudinot02 Jun 2016 3:10 p.m. PST

In case anyone gets the wrong idea, the "Gentleman's selection" that Mark is talking about is X-Wing and military books!

Jemima Fawr02 Jun 2016 10:10 p.m. PST

At least that's what I tell the wife… ;)

GWI,

Did you get the e-mail ok?

Jemima Fawr06 Jun 2016 8:50 a.m. PST

Hi GWI,

Still nothing heard at this end, mate. :)
