This is a 1/72 scale M16 which i have been working on for a while now in between commissions. I bought the superb AB M16 crew, and i found it would not fit into the Matchbox/Revell M16 , it was simply way too small . But the turret was ok , so i bought a Altaya M16 and fitted the Matchbox turret into it,as the gunner fitted the Match box turret and not the Altaya. The Gerry cans are from the Matchbox M16 and the stowage is from the Hobby Den, must get more. So once i got all that sorted out i painted and marked this model as a M16 from the U.S. 5th Armd Div,serving in Normandy.
