I remember reading a book when I was a kid.
It was a Disney book, about all the popular Disney characters. There was a chapter on Davey Crockett (King of the Wild Frontier!). A comet was about to hit the earth. So Congress passed a law against it. But it still kept on coming! Davey to the rescue!

I think that as a first step, we need to have a poll outlawing the Bug. And as soon as possible. We have to show it we mean business.

So are you with me?

1. Outlaw the Bug!
2. No. It has feelings.
3. No opinion.

We're with you, Winston! OUTLAW THE BUG!!

Mako1131 May 2016 7:25 p.m. PST

Like that'll work.

Probably have the same success as outlawing alcohol and drinking during Prohibition.

Good luck with that.

Winston Smith31 May 2016 7:28 p.m. PST

Killjoy.

Narratio31 May 2016 7:49 p.m. PST

Nah, as it was claimed in so many Disney classics – All you have to do is believe!
Ban the Bug! Ban the Bug!

zoneofcontrol31 May 2016 7:57 p.m. PST

Maybe we should give it its own board and it will leave the rest of us alone.

I am morally opposed to more laws, especially ones that cannot be effectively enforced.

PrivateSnafu31 May 2016 8:52 p.m. PST

The Prime Directive must be followed, you cannot exterminate the bug.

GarrisonMiniatures01 Jun 2016 1:36 a.m. PST

Are we certain it is, in fact, one bug or many? Has it or they achieved full sentience yet, and if so do we have the moral right to ban it? Indeed, a committee should be set up to fully investigate all aspects of the bug/s to determine the correct procedures to follow.

Florida Tory01 Jun 2016 4:16 a.m. PST

I stand with Winston. Outlaw the bug.

Bill can't fix it so we might as well try to wish it away! 8)=

Disco Joe01 Jun 2016 5:17 a.m. PST

Or we could use the power of the farce to control it.

Hafen von Schlockenberg01 Jun 2016 6:26 a.m. PST

GM: Does a sense of humor indicate sentience? If so, the bug has demonstrated sentience many times over.

WarWizard01 Jun 2016 8:00 a.m. PST

Resistance is futile.

sneakgun01 Jun 2016 8:34 a.m. PST

It's trying to find a mate….it's lonely….and misunderstood….

GarrisonMiniatures01 Jun 2016 8:34 a.m. PST

Actually, it's not a bug anyway. It's a feature. And as soon as Microsoft hears about it their lawyers will issues a cease and disist notification as the use of features is patented by Microsoft.

GarrisonMiniatures01 Jun 2016 8:35 a.m. PST

And although that post posted it still gave a lockfile error message!

GarrisonMiniatures01 Jun 2016 8:36 a.m. PST

As did that! Priceless. Do I get 3 with this?

GarrisonMiniatures01 Jun 2016 8:37 a.m. PST

Yes!

vtsaogames01 Jun 2016 9:35 a.m. PST

To hell with outlawing it. Let's get a rope!

RavenscraftCybernetics01 Jun 2016 9:41 a.m. PST

I will not support this!
HAIL ERIS!

skinkmasterreturns02 Jun 2016 9:57 a.m. PST

Shame on all of you-the bug has rights too,to live the way it sees fit.If the government gets wind of its existance,it'll get a mutil-million dollar grant and its own bathroom.

Hafen von Schlockenberg02 Jun 2016 11:35 a.m. PST

Not to state the obvious, but I think (ahem!) it already has that last…

DanErvin02 Jun 2016 12:23 p.m. PST

If you outlaw The Bug, then only outlaws will have bugs.
