I recognized the towers as being modified Zvezda wooden towers (1/72 scale). Interesting build. |

Most Western Forts didn't have walls & Towers. But I do love the fort Apache figure set. |

Lack off walls and towers was as much about it being easier to defend than lack of materials. Buildings required fewer men than the perimeter of the camp would and could establish a crossfire between them. Of course Hollywood decided that a fort looked better on film, so that is how we all grew up thinking of the west. |
