Painted up my version of Abdul Goldberg for a comp being judged by Rick Priestly Himself.
He is converted from a Eureka Voltaire figure and some bits from the Cadian trooper box and a Dragon Forge backpack. You can read more about him here: link |

Kudos and back-slaps. Great job on both the conversion and painting. |

Gets my vote… There is a peculiar lack of civilians or nobles in the 40K line….you've got me thinking….thanks! |

Genius! They ought to have an organised "envisage Abdul Goldberg" competition. |

Thanks everyone. @JSchutt, you should take a look at John Boyce's Colony 87 figures. He's done two small Kickstarters of just such a thing. Also Mark Elster has done a figure he calls the Galactic Bastard which is quite nice. @Norman, you can see a whole bunch of interpretations of Abdul in the facebook group album. link |

One … count 'em, ONE skull on that model. Nicely done. Rogue Trader at it's finest. |

Well 3 skulls if you count the tiny winged skull insignias on the bolt pistol and chain sword. ;) |
