Hi all

Last months update

TMP link

Well 5 months in and the lead mountain has shrunk slightly….

Bought

28mm – 38 (WWII odds and ends)

Painted
6mm – 72 (mahdists)
28mm – 20 (Arabs)

Monthly = +54
Yearly = +118
Lead pile = 1293

My purchases were mainly due to Warlord sending me vouchers and discount codes – so my Early war Polish army has now begun!!!!

Plan
1) More mahdists
2) More Arabs
3) More WWII

Have fun
:-)

I started May with 307 figures in the pile.

I painted 31 figures – all 25mm.

1 – 25mm monster – Ral Partha Lesser Demon
6 – 25mm D&D PCs/NPCs (from Grenadier Specialist set)
10 – 25mm wargames figures – Humans
12 – 25mm Chaos Warriors (Ral Partha)
2 – 25mm Armored Bodyguards (Ral Partha)

And "no purchases"! Four months in a row and counting! I did participate in the Ral Partha Chao Wars Kickstarter #2. Only 37 will get added to the lead pile when they come.

I fell into a good rhythm, and about halfway through the month set out to do an average of a mini a day. If I had my weekends available, or I'd not been doing so much prep-work/priming on other minis and assembling a catapult, I might've gotten a few more done.

I ended the month with 276 figures in the pile.

For the year, I have a net of: +139 figures.

So far this year it is +30 bought in the 28 mm pile, but painted 130 so I am down 100

Down 32 in the 20mm pile

Down 48 in the 15mm pile

Total figs down is 180

Hard news is, probably at least 1000 figs in the pile

I was able to cut and paste from last month :(

Got a lot of painting done in May but didn't quite finish anything, so June should look good :)

My pledge of no new figures this year suffered again and I bought 45 15mm (discontinued figures, had to snap them up, right ?)

2016 Goals
NO BUYING NEW FIGURES (I need to keep writing it) – 195
28mm: 16/100
15mm: 65/200
10mm: 0/100
Scenery Pieces: 0/12

Good luck all

John

As expected I didn't have any time to paint this month but I didn't really add a lot either. Thinking of working on terrain for awhile.

YTD: Bought 111; Painted: 161

DOUGKL31 May 2016 6:18 p.m. PST

Urban renewal continues. As far as figures go, bought none.
Painted
6 15mm Cossacks and 2 carts
2 15mm supply wagons

So I am at 135 more bought than painted for the year.

Went to Huzzah and practiced some great self control for figures. However I did pick up a few buildings. Painting was as good as I would have liked but I managed to finish 24 figures so I'm well into the red this month and look to make headway next month. Also built 2 buildings and 1 wagon.

This month
Bought – 0
Painted – 24, 10 S&S ACW 14 Assorted Little Britons

YTD

Painted – 97
Net – +29
