Spotted today on the BBC web site. About time too, respect to these women and their British counterparts in the ATA who flew every type of aircraft to get them to the fighting crews. |

Good for them! I'm sure some would have volunteered to fly into combat zones,had it been allowed. RE the article, cremation cases do take longer to schedule,due to being lower priority,as I've just recently discovered. |

Figured that was what they meant, but it also stands for White Anglo-Saxon Protestants too. Glad to see they are to be admitted. That should always have been the case for the women. |

Back in the 70s, I worked with a woman who had been a WASP during the war. She ferried Mustangs to the UK via Greenland. Thinking back on what that actually meant, she was a d@mned brave lady and deserves to be so honored. B |
