Several members of the Harford Area Weekly Kreigspeilers took a road trip to Nashcon this past weekend. As usual we had a very nice time and thank the HMGS MidSouth folks for putting on the event.

Thank you guys for putting on some great games, I enjoyed playing in the Paris 1814 battle.

Buck, I enjoyed your blog entry about stuffing all those guys and game supplies into one vehicle for a trip of hundreds of miles. As it was it took two cars to get my Pirate game 20 miles. For those not at Nashcon I am of the view that these guys didn't just put on games, they were adventures. I played in the Paris 1814 game with Major Mike. At my end of the table I was assigned a game "helper" who aided in talking us through the first few turns. It made a lot of difference since it was like having a human game chart. It was a slug fest with my Russians making some progress up the hill: that is until my left wing headed for tall weeds. Here is a photo from the game with Buck playing the Maestro.

And here is HAWK member, Geoff, playing in my Pirate game.

I just wish I had time to play in the HAWK Dr.Who game. I was only able to take a photo. The game looked great.

I also enjoyed the Paris 1814 game. Thank-you all for coming. Hope to see you again next Nashcon.

Thank you all for the kind words regarding our games, and the Battle for Paris game in particular. It was fun to be an assistant GM for the game, and you all were a great group of gamers.
Sadly, we will probably be skipping Nashcon next year, but should be back again in 2018!

It was great to see the HAWKS in Nashville. It felt a bit "out of context" to me as I have always seen Buck, Jay and the rest of the boys at Historicon every year. I am glad to have had a chance to speak with all of them one more time this year. Thanks for coming down guys!

The HAWKs are a great asset to HMGS East. I'm glad our tar-heel brethren got a chance to enjoy their entertaining offerings.
(Nice job, guys!)
