Hi guys

Finished these 2 15mm Power armour miniatures for a customer, just need to base them now, they are sold under the label "PanzerAnzug "WWII" German Power Armour for 15mm" on Shapeways link , the one on the right is Frosted ultra detail and is now the only option available, it doesn't have that grainy look like the one on the right, and is quite detailed, the bottom pic has a comparison with a 15mm.co.uk figure and a Khurasan power armour, these certainly fit the bill if you are after power armour with a certain look.

Nice looking minis, amazing the difference in textures

The differences dont look that stark until painted.
Beautiful work Dan

That texture is odd, unless it supposed to represent zimmerit.

It wasnt supposed to represent zimmerit but now I want one with it.

Its just a cheaper method of printing than the other method. Exact same file was used to print both.

Yeah, but then you have to start playing SF3D. ;->=

the one on the right is Frosted ultra detail and is now the only option available,

Now for the painting suggestions on how to add the 'fuzz' back in…

Doug if you really want it I have left it on the store.
Just want people to know what they are getting!

*I* was teasing; YOU said 'now I want one.' ;->=

You were probably better off the first time, as not everyone who buys necessarily sees this thread.

I recently started doing some SF3D/MaK models in 1/100 for 15mm gaming for myself. The size difference shouldn't be that much though!
Amazing what a difference in material and resolution comes out.

mind you, these pics are blown up to over double the size, so it makes it grainier than it is, but there is definitely a difference, normally I would use washes, but was afraid of what the grainy surface would do, I think the frosted detailed one would take a wash.
