I continue to work my 1809 28mm Austrian Old Glory forces. We here in the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) Society are looking at playing Black Powder. I am organizing these into regiments as opposed to battalions. This first force comprises:

4 x 24 Line Infantry
1 x 24 Jaeger w/8 skirmishers
1 x 24 Grenadiers
1 x 4 medium Gun battery
1 x 8 Uhlans

I am now painting an 8 figure Hussar regiment.

Those look really nice. Just one suggestion – I usually touch up paper banners so that the white paper isn't showing. I think it's showing on the uhlan banners but it could be reflected light in the photo.

A great looking little army you've got there. Are the units going to be "large?" Is the four gun battery going to fire as a single battery?

These look great and you have won two bags of OG of your choice. Call the OG factory and ask for Connie (724-423-3580 or 3599)
or email to oldglory@cvzoom.net and ask her real nice like and tell her "Russ said".

Thanks much Russ – love the Old Glory 25's just can't make that transition to plastics in Napoleonics. Also have a large 15mm OG Napoleonic collection from the past 30 years! Started to add Blue Moon to them. I Was going to order some OG 25mm Normans (for SAGA) so will let Connie know, my friend Oppiedog was getting ready to order. Keep up the great work, we here in the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) Society (Texas) appreciate your products.

79th PA: Yes, my group here in Texas really likes Napoleon at War in 15mm, I am working to try out 28mm. Also looking at Black Powder rules. My Russian batteries (will post in the future) have 6 stands of 3or4 gunners and a gun each.
