Why does this keep happening? The last three threads I've tried to start have had this happen. It is happening all the time now. Is anyone else experiencing this? Why isn't it being fixed? Do we know what the problem is? It is getting to the point where I have to try five or six times to start a thread. |

At 9PM (TMP Time)… began the "Doom Zone Hours"… impossible to post, crossport, bugs, etc… You also see it during the day… but much less… But after the 9PM… you are lucky if you can post normally… Hope Bill took attention to this because it's happened since a while… everyday at the same hour… So, you are not alone my friend… ask Kyoteblue!… (smile) Amicalement

Simple solution I've found. When you get a "lock file error", hit the "Back" button, wait a few seconds, then hit "Submit" again. Works for me! Had to do it to post this reply! And the reply posted twice! |

When I try that I just get repeated lockfile errors. No matter how many times I try. |

vagamer63…. I'm happy for you… but I did this since the beginning of the Ages… and usually you have not results… maybe you are a lucky man!!… (smile). So, I suffered the same of Pictors Studio… But exactly now… seems that for a while… it's working… So… Run pictor… RUN…! (smile) Amicalement

It has happened to me a few times but I just press F5 on my keyboard and then it works. |

First time I ever had a message post twice after that cursed lock file bug, but I guess there is more then one way to overcome a tech bug!! At least it beats spraying "Raid" all over the keyboard!! LOL!!! |

have that all the time when posting near the off time of TMP . When TMP comes back online somewhere after midnight it is oK for me |

Just hit send again, or sometimes it has posted anyway. It has been doing this for years and is vaguely annoying but not a show stopper. |

Why does this keep happening? The last three threads I've tried to start have had this happen. It is what is known in IT as a "race condition". As Martin Rapier says, vaguely annoying but not a show stopper. Why isn't it being fixed? Do we know what the problem is? If you are very knowledgeable aboyt databases and how they work, I'm sure the Kindly Editor would appreciate your help. OTOH, perhaps it would be better to wait for TMP 4.0 … |

"….but not a show stopper." (??) Not yesterday, but the two days before it was impossible to post after 9PM… see the list… a single post… and I have a dozen waiting to "enter"… at the end… I quit… It's getting worst… you don't beleived this untill you became to have the problem… Amicalement
