I'm building a Hasmonean army so those could actually be really useful for me. But I'm not in love with the figures themselves. The scale is unhelpful, too small for 28mm and too big for 15mm; non-hard plastic is never ideal either. I must admit that the term "Jewess" always raises an eyebrow or two. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with "Jewish woman" in that context, but whatever. |

For what it's worth, the Yiddish language uses the terms "Yid" for a Jewish man and "Yiddena" for a Jewish woman. In English, that's Jew and Jewess. |
